Interview with Aktiv8 F8

1. Where did you hear about AC?

Before working at AC I was working for another online company doing freelance work. At that time I was writing an article about WAHM's and my research lead me to AC.

3. Why did you join AC?

AC seemed like a place that I could express my interests creatively without having to wait until a client asked me to write about one of them.

4. What types of articles, poems, stories, ect, do you write about?

Lately I have been short on time to write and research freely but usually I try to write about raw foodism, animal husbandry, travel, Japan and so on.

5. Who are some of your favorite AC producers?

It is hard to choose from the vast array of wonderful writers...I read a few hundred articles each day, so I have many favorites.

6. What do you think AC needs more topics on?

AC has been doing a wonderful job at getting new ideas out there through the C4C but I feel that there is a lack of religious articles.

7. Do you enjoy writing for AC?

I wouldn't be here if I disliked it, AC is a great place to read, write and gets your mind running around different ideas.

8. Do you think you could make a full time or part time living on AC?

It is hard to say however I believe that if you are talking about earning enough money to live on full or part-time, I would have to say part-time. In the beginning it was easy to make enough money working full-time however policies have changed and it is hard to get paid much money per article compared to before to make a full living.

9. How long do you plan on writing for AC?

AC is a great place to release some of my ideas, I plan on writing until I get tired or run out of ideas.

10. Where do you get your topics for writing?

Topics are usually just what I feel like at the moment, I like to run with my interest at the moment through my writing. Lately since I have not had too much time to sit down and think I have been doing a lot of C4C to produce articles without having to think about a topic.

11. Have you ever written for AC's calls for content and if you have did you like it?

Sure, I love the C4C. Sometimes I feel like writing but I am stumped on a topic, C4C get my blood flowing again and I can produce more articles from the one suggestion. In addition, the C4C's are great because there is almost a guarantee of getting an up-front payment unlike articles that are written out of the blue.

12. What are some of your best articles, poems, stories, ect, on AC?

This is hard to say, I am particularly proud of all the articles I have produced. I do however enjoy writing the holidays articles each day. Daily holidays can be interesting and strange all at the same time; it is a great break from the busy schedule I live.

13. Will you enter a link to some of your best AC articles? If yes copy and paste it into the interview?

I encourage you to look through the articles and pick some out yourself; it is great way to learn who I am and what my interests are on an average day.

14. What do you like best about AC?

Having a place to express my interests and also reading other producers articles to learn something new.

15. What do you like least about AC Content?

I guess I could say pay could be better but that probably won't change until the economy does first. The only thing I can complain about is that there is no one-on-one customer service contact with the people that read the articles or deal with the technical errors on the site. Once you send in an e-mail, AC does not have to respond if they do not want to - for a writer this is a little discouraging.

16. What do you plan on writing about next and why?

Well, after I finish this I have to work on my daily holiday article and then a few raw vegan articles about Christmas feasting. In the next few months I plan on writing some articles on holiday decorations and eating your way through the holidays.

17. Last Question! If you had any awesome advice to give to other CP's what would it be?

Keep writing about things that are pin-pointed towards your interests, if one is declined for up-front payment just keep going.
