Armed with an arsenal of ghost capturing equipment: EMF Meters, night vision camcorders, digital photography, motion detectors, etc., Gary Albone and his group of investigators will launch an attack against the paranormal at the St. Kyneburgha Church, Peterborough.
For this skeptic and his believing wife, ghost hunting has become more than a hobby. They formed the group "Spooky-Nights" inviting up to twenty guests for paranormal partying. Although Gary is a skeptic, he still takes his position as founder seriously.
Gary states the aim of the group is "to get the general public involved with affordable ghost hunt events that everyone can afford and enjoy." Along with Gary and Tracy; Spooky-Nights includes four team leaders, a historian and a medium. They are looking to greatly increase their numbers and branch out. Up to twenty guests are invited for these tours of terror. Many are turned away as the popularity of the group has grown.
Halloween night should be monumental to this small group. The list of events includes: meet and greet, presentation of equipment used, tour of venue, small group séances, workshop with resident mediums, vigils, large group séances, physical mediumship demonstration, history talk and team debriefing. A large list of excitement and horror for those seeking thrills, chills and screams.
On his skepticism, Gary states that many unexplainable occurrences to and around him, yet not enough to make him a believer. He remains cynical of all events that occur on these paranormal patrols. That may make Gary even more credible. He began his group of ghoul getters as a joke; now he has a large following, just waiting for his next vaporous venture.
Gary has investigated many areas filled with paranormal phenomenon including a working mill and mill house. He now has sole exploration rights to the site. A picture of a spirit woman can be seen from the mill's window. You can view this picture along with a plethora of videos on his web-site; www.spooky-nights.com. I fully endorse this site; as I could not resist registering myself and adding a few of my own experiences. The videos are extraordinary and a must view.
I asked what Gary's fantasy haunt would be. His response, "Any venue is a dream investigation for me. We never stage any effects, each night offers different challenges and experiences. So we never know what we will experience."
The definition of a successful haunt is the reaction Gary receives from the guests and the comments they leave at Facebook; http://www.facebook.com/l/94922;Spooky-Nights.com.
I wish Gary and his team well on All Hallow's Eve. More than that, I yearn to join them. Happy Haunting to you Gary. I look forward todetails of the eerie event.

Post a Commentinterestingly spooky!
I love Halloween...BOOOOOOOO
I am too much of a scared-y cat to try something like this! I don't even watch scary movies!!
Well-if you can go...go!
I am not to much for people who do it for thrills.
Great write though thanks for sharing.
Don't let the friendly smile fool you; this guy has about as much credibility within the paranormal community as Ghostbusters.
The last time I had the displeasure to meet Mr Albone was when he attended an event (as a guest I might add) that I was on with my partner David. Gary was sarcastic, demeaned both the hosts, other guests and in particular their special guest (a radio presenter) and spent the entire night on this companies tour trying to convince the owners of the location to let his own company book with them as he had been turned down no fewer than three times already by the location; his interference was such that in order to talk to the location owner, the tour operator had to insist that they take their conversation out of the room.
This alleged sceptic also insisted that a spirit had threatened him through a ouija board. How very sceptical of him.
fun and interesting article. I wish I could ghost hunt with him. I love ghost hunting.
Would love to do this...just not at night in the dark!! Interesting article.
great article, thanks for sharing this info!
