Interview with Kassidy Emmerson

1. Where did you hear about AC?

I had written part-time for a few other web sites similar to AC. When the last site, WriteforCash, closed its doors, I looked around and (joyously) found AC.

2. When did you join AC?

February 17th will mark my 4-yr. anniversary.

3. Why did you join AC?

Besides the money, I like the way AC works. You know- write, submit, get offer, accept, get published. Most of the time, it's a smooth process that, judging by much of the works on AC, brings about some amazing results. There's A LOT of talent on this website, and that's what makes it so successful.

4. What types of articles, poems, stories, etc, do you write about?

Mainly, I write product reviews, "How to", and "Interesting Facts".

5. Who are some of your favorite AC producers?

I have so many that I can't name them all. All my fav CPs are assets to the AC site. They all contribute valuable information, whether it teaches, or it entertains.

6. What do you think AC needs more topics on?

Hmm, I think AC already has a pretty diverse field of topics.

7. Do you enjoy writing for AC?

Absolutely!

8. Do you think you could make a full time or part time living on AC?

Writing for AC is a super part-time job.

9. How long do you plan on writing for AC?

Until the site shuts down or I retire, whichever comes first! Ha.

10. Where do you get your topics for writing?

Life in general. I have many, many interests.

11. Have you ever written for AC's calls for content, and if you have, did you like it?

I've written nearly 100 C4Cs so far. They're great. I like it that AC processes them so quickly.

12. What are some of your best articles, poems, stories, ect, on AC?

(see #13)

13. Will you enter a link to some of your best AC articles? If yes copy and paste it into the interview?

14. What do you like best about AC?

AC has many positives. I'd have to say the camaraderie is what I like the best. I've met some really wonderful people that I've become friends with.

15. What do you like least about AC Content?

Well, I think there would be a collective cheer from the CPs if we didn't experience slow times. Those times when your articles just keep accumulating in your queue gathering cobwebs. It's real easy to lose your enthusiasm for writing for AC during these times.

16. What do you plan on writing about next and why?

Since Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up, maybe some seasonal articles.

17. Last Question! If you had any awesome advice to give to other AC Producers what would it be?

That's a tall order. :-) I'd say, if you want to do well on AC: 1) Write on popular topics. 2) Follow the rules. (i.e., keyword density, grammar, spelling, etc.), and 3) Keep at it. If you keep trying, success will come.

Thanks much for the interview, Lily!

Thank you so much Kassidy Emmerson for doing the interview ! Your so great! Thank you also to all the other CP's who have checked out the interview as well!
