We are one human family. Sometimes in a family, there are some that loose their voice. Some that don't know they have a voice. Some who have never been asked their ideas or opinions. I believe everyone has a voice and a story. I ask random people that I meet or know 8 simple questions. Questions that plague us all, and the connective tissue that binds us as one human family.

Name or pseudonym: Michelle M. Guilbeau-Sheppard

Age or birth date: 42

What do you look like? I have brown hair with lots of blond highlights, brown eyes, 5'2 and yes everyone tells me I am so little! Can't grow anymore -- sorry!

Where do you live? Chicago, IL

What's the meaning of life? Not sure about the meaning of life, but I try to live my life to the fullest and make the most out of each day. I know that I do not want to leave this world with any regrets.

Are you afraid to die and why? I used to be, but in the last few years when I think about if I were to die, I feel okay about it because I feel like I have accomplished pretty much everything I have wanted to. Now the rest of my life is a matter of fine tuning everything!

Why are you happy? If you're not, why not? If you are, why are you? I am really happy and I love life. I think I am so happy because I have worked really hard throughout my life and I also feel so proud of everything in my life. I gave birth to two daughters when I was 19 and 21 years old, they both have turned out excellent and both are completing college. I was getting my Bachelors and Masters and working part-time when I had both my girls and although there were many times I thought I couldn't make it another day, I just kept going and got it done! I have had an excellent career in a school district near my home for 16 years and now I am able to express myself through my writing. Everything in my life is good!

Anything you'd like to say to the world? Work hard and the rewards will pay out for a lifetime!
