Why would you get a tattoo?

I recommend getting a tattoo that absolutely means some thing to you, If its a loved one who passed away or just some thing you totally love and what to remember and to help you heal and deal with it.

Best place for a tattoo?

Most tattoos are done where no one can see them either upper arm, back, shoulder. Try staying away from visible tattoos if at all possible, if you are afraid to offend some one. Body Art is not always accepted in our culture even though it has been around 100's of 1000's of years.

Does it hurt?

Yes, Anything that goes in to your skin is going to hurt, The worst is your ribs, lower back and under the arm.

How long do they last?

Tattoos are forever in less you have them removed, That's why you need to take time and figure out this is exactly what you want!

What is the most popular tattoos?

By far Kanji which is Chinese letters or symbols, Tribal Art, Old English letters, hearts, flowers, Harley Wings, crosses, dragons, one that has been around for ever and never will leave is skulls. It's truly hard to pick just one set there are so many people and choices that are out there it's all up to you.

What is played out?

In my opinion skulls is played out, Another artist quoted Tazz Manian Devils, Cartoons in general.

How much do they cost?

The cost depends on the artist and mostly the size of the tattoo, The bigger the tattoo the bigger the price, Some do buy the hour or even the piece alone, and if it is a very large tattoo some will charge by the sitting alone and break the tattoo down to multiple sittings.

I am unsure if I should get one should I?

That has to be up to you but if you are that un-sure and you asking me I would say NO!

Is getting a tattoo safe?

It all depends on the establishment and the Artist doing it, I would ask the proper questions, about the needles and the equipment, If the area is clean and sanitary when you walk in, ask questions about Sanitization, all Health Certificates should be on the wall including, Artist Permit, Sterilization Monitoring Certificate, The artist should be able to open the needle up in front of you and everything is sterile which is required by your state.

Also an Artist should tell you what he or she is going to be doing and if you have doubts don't have your tattoo done there! Always ask to see samples of there work they have done if its tattoos or there Art.

My friend does tattoos should he do it for me?

If your friend is licensed and has a establishment and all the proper things that would be up to you, But I highly recommend not getting it done if it is a home made type tattoo setup. You will eventually regret if it isn't professionally done! Besides all the health risks that can be involved.

My friend and I want to get matching tattoos what do you recommend?

I would recommend some thing that will mean some thing both to you so that even if your friendship don't last at least it still means some thing to you,
Most people prefer not to have matching tattoos that are exactly the same do to individuality you can get a tattoo that is similar for the same purposes
but like I said if you are dead set on the same one make sure it means some thing to you!

Are tattoos just for bikers?

Just cause you have tattoos that don't mean you are a biker or some one bad, Our society has grown to love art and tattoos they are a expression of freedom
many people have tattoos for Art, for Love and for family.

Why did you get in to tattooing?

I love art in any shape and form I love tattoos to do art on skin is my dream. Its just another form of Art and I love Art.
