Interview with a Phone Sex Operator

Last night I got the chance to sit down with a very interesting lady, who goes by the name of Jasmine. Jasmine is a phone sex operator who works out of her home. She agreed to give us a look at her job. Most people already know a lot of this stuff but some of you will still be amazed.

How did you get into being a phone sex operator?

Jasmine: I was looking at this website and they had an advertisement for phone sex operators. I clicked the link and read about what was expected and what the pay was like. I loved what I had read so I filled out the application. They called me in a couple of days for an over the phone interview and said they liked my voice so they hired me.

You are able to do this from your home?

Jasmine: Yep. I just take calls and give the man on the phone what ever fantasy he wants. These guys buy blocks of time so I am not trying to milk them out of more money by keeping them on the phone longer. So I just give them a real great fantasy and if they like they will request me the next time they call. They have no clue that I am sitting in my home doing normal things.

What do you mean by normal things?

Jasmine: For example I had this one guy on the phone and was getting him real good and into his fantasy with my voice. What he did not know is that I was sitting there painting my toe nails. Another time I was I was on the phone with a man and sweeping my kitchen floors. LOL They never knew that I was doing those things. They really thought I was into the fantasy as much as they were.

How do you know what kind of fantasy the man wants?

Jasmine: I don't know about other places but the company I work for has a dispatch operator who answers the man's call and he tells her what kind of girl he is looking for. She takes his credit card information that is used to bill him for the block of time he has bought and then puts him on hold. While he is on hold she rings my phone and tells me the type of girl he has requested. Then the call is patched through to me. From there I pretend to be what ever he wanted.

So you do not look like what you are telling this man you look like?

Jasmine: Oh heck no honey. I have been everything from a long legged skinny blonde to a 300 lbs fat redhead. Trust me I do not look like neither of them. But a man has the type of girl that turns him on and I am more than happy to be that girl.

What is the pay like for a job like this?

Jasmine: I get paid a percentage of the block of time the man has bought. The more a man likes you the more amount of time he will buy the next time he calls and request you. I do get a bonus though if the man requested me specifically. Lets just say there is a killing to be made as a phone sex operator.

How do you know what the man wanted if he requested you specifically? I mean don't you get these men confused?

Jasmine: I did during my first month of doing this. But I devised a little cheat sheet that helps me now. I keep notes on the men that call and the next time dispatch calls me they will tell me they have so and so on the line and I will grab my cheat sheet on that man. It keeps things pretty simple.

I have heard of phone sex operators having a call center. How does this differ from doing it from home?

Jasmine: It is so much better doing it from home in my opinion. I don't have to go into an office and sit in a booth with other women all around me. I get to do this from the comfort of my own home. So it also cuts down on the embarrassment of someone else other than the man on the line hearing the stuff that comes out of my mouth. In real life I am pretty much shy. But over the phone I can be pretty bold.

Have you ever had any calls that you would not take?

Jasmine: I won't take any calls where the man wants me to do anything illegal. Even if it is only pretend over the phone , I will not do it. If a man request that I pretend to be a young child, I will tell him No and that I am reporting him. I hang up immediately and call back dispatch and report what the man had said. Dispatch will then report the man to the authorities. This can be a great way for a man to act his fantasy but it is not the place to try and live out some sick thoughts. If someone talks about something enough they just might try to make that fantasy a reality and in situations like that we don't want that type of fantasy to be a reality.

What are some of the weirdest things you have heard in this business?

Jasmine: Oh I have heard a lot of strange things. You would never believe half the stuff a man can come up with. Some of these men have called and said things that made me want to scream at them and call them little sickos. But of course I can not do this. I had this one guy who had a very sick little fetish with food. The places he wanted the food put was just gross. That call was a hard one to get through. Some times I think I should get paid mental trauma pay.
