Having an interview is a somewhat scary process as you really don't know what to expect, but what you can do is be as prepared as you possible can be, for example you can be prepared by getting friends and family to ask you some interview questions which may or may not crop up in the interview. Below are some examples of interview questions.

Q. What school or college did you attend and why did you choose this particular educational institute?

Q. Are you happy to work overtime?

Q. Why do you think you would make a good candidate for this job?

Q. What other skills, attributes etc could you bring to this job/position?

Q. Why do you think you would be well suited in this position?

Q. Are you planning any further or additional education?

Q. Can you work well as a team and lead a team if necessary?

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time, what hobbies do you have or participate in?

Q. Are you able to work alone and without supervision?

Q. Are you a creative and innovative person?

Q. Are you motivated and what motivates you?

Q. What were or are the reasons behind you leaving your current job?

Q. Why did you choose this particular career/field?

Q. What can you bring to this company.

Q. How do you deal with stress and are you able to work well under pressure/stress.

Q. Give me an example of a problem you have recently overcome or solved within your job?

Q. How would you characterize yourself?

Q. What do you think is your strongest skill or asset?

Q. How would you handle multiple/ same day/same time deadlines?

Q. How do you organise yourself, your work, your staff, your colleagues etc?

Q. Are you a risk taker?

Q. What are your career goals, aims and ambitions?

Some top tips for answering interview questions

1. When going through these and possible more potential interview questions always remember to take your time. Don't rush into an answer that you might later regret.

2. Stay calm, be cool and be prepared.

3. Be decisive. Job interviews are neither the time nor the place for umming and arghing so be decisive, make a decision and stick to it.
