We have been enjoying RM Gal's work on Associated Content for some time now--her very seductive Jud Thorensen installments and some really amazing poetry. Since I enjoy her work so much, I wanted to get some more feedback from RM Gal--how she comes up with these ideas on the seductive spicy life of Jud. Here I am taking on my first challenge to interview her so we can all find out more about RM Gal. Let the Associate Content world see how amazing this gal really is. Hope you all enjoy my first attempt at this.

3lilangels: The Jud Thorensen installments have some really intense, spicy and hot situations, with great visual thoughts. It makes me wonder, "where does all of this come from"? How did you come about this?

RM Gal: As I first began writing about Jud, his highly charged sexuality quickly became apparent. So did his talent for trouble. Thus, Jud soon turned my simple suspense story into a sex-and-suspense page-turner.

3lilangels: How long have you been writing creatively?

RM Gal: I began in 2000, just after moving from Iowa to California. I have since returned to Iowa.

3lilangels: Did this come naturally to you? Were you born to be a writer?

RM Gal: For most of my life, I had thought of myself as an artist. In fact, I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and worked in Type Design. Yet, writing comes to me more naturally than art. I think I was born to be a writer because I am always fantasizing.

3lilangels: From what I understand, writing is a large part of your life. What influences you to write?

RM Gal: Since starting the practice of Transcendental Meditation® in 1996, which I find expands the mind, I feel I have something to say--perhaps too much! And I lust for playing with words and ideas.

3lilangels: Are there any authors, personalities or maybe even AC Content Producers who have influenced you or encouraged you to write more now than ever?

RM Gal: In 2000, because I wanted to write but didn't know where to begin, I read Stephen King's book 'On Writing, A Memoir of the Craft'. It gave me the tools to write a novel. But I didn't do so until John, my husband, jump-started me. Since then, I have been self-motivated. Yet, John and my son, actor Jack Sway, are my primary influencer's and encourager's. A few of my favorite authors are EM Forster, Jane Austen, PG Wodehouse, Sidney Sheldon, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. And, of course, I enjoy the broad range of terrific writing by AC Content Producers. Some of it is exceptional.

3lilangels: How much of your personality and life experiences are in your writings?

RM Gal: A trace of some personality aspect of mine exists in each of my characters. Variations of personal life experiences occasionally filter into my writing. At times, I loosely draw from the traits and experiences of other people. But my characters' identities and their lives essentially belong to my characters.

3lilangels: What do you do to relax and recharge your batteries?

RM Gal: John and I go for walks and meditate. We go to the movies. But, mainly, I recharge as I write--as a car battery charges while the car is being driven.

3lilangels: What are your thoughts on spicy love scenes in romance novels? Do you find them very difficult or easy to write?

RM Gal: I love spicy love scenes. Visions of sex scenes flow through my mind. I see each move that Jud and each of his lovers make and I rapidly choose the words that will capture the heat. I burn up the computer keys.

3lilangels: Are you in control of your characters or do they control you?

RM Gal: My characters control me 98 percent of the time. They are true to themselves. Their decisions and actions drive the story. I have the main idea of where we're all heading, which makes up my two percent of the control, but my characters take us there.

3lilangels: What are some of your best articles on AC that you would like to share with all of us here?

RM Gal: 1. 'The Snapshots That I Stole' is an autobiographical poem that seems to strike a common chord with many people.

2. 'Julie Jensen, Suicide or Homicide, Wife Poison Mystery' is about the 'wife poisoning trial and her letter from the grave.' I was so fascinated by this concept that I followed Mark Jensen's trial on CNN.com and wrote several articles about it. This 'Mystery' one is the most popular.

3. 'Rare Cougar Sighting in Fairfield, Iowa; Update'--John and I encountered a cougar on a popular hiking trail in November 2007.

3lilangels: You said you started writing in 2000. Why then?

RM Gal: John told me to! He had listened to me talk about writing during our daily walks for all of 1999. When I finally suggested an idea in 2000, just as an example of what I might write about, he told me it was great and to start writing about it. The idea turned into my first book, 'Crucifixion', in which a dead man's best friend blames a writer (Jud) for the man's death and plans to crucify him. I published the book that year.

3lilangels: You've published two other books. Please tell us about them. We would love to hear.

RM Gal: My second book was a biography about my son, which I pulled off the market because he asked me to--it had too many family secrets! My third book, Sticks & Stones, published in 2002, is about an accusatory letter, a young girl and her gorgeous mother, and an arranged marriage--all of which catapult Jud into a fatal trap devised by the mother's wealthy husband and a powerful friend. The AC installments of 'The Seduction of Teenage Jud Thorensen' were modified from this story.

3lilangels: I understand that the Jud Thorensen Trilogy is pending publication. Why did you write about Jud yet again? Tell us about the Trilogy.

RM Gal: Jud is a sex-driven hunk, whom I think of as a spiritual James Bond. He is very real; his life is a legend. His Trilogy is an epic intrigue in which the dangerous and voyeuristic Romanian Intelligence make Jud their unlawful and sexual prey over a cultural scandal waiting to explode. He holds the trigger. To be published as three volumes, the Trilogy is a set of my best page-turners yet. In fact, the four AC installments of Sexy Jud Thorensen and Nikki Hansen, are excerpts from this Trilogy.

3lilangels: By any chance, do you have a literary agent? Who publishes your books?

RM Gal: I do not have an agent. I self-publish my novels through iUniverse. They are available on-line through iUniverse, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon. My article 'Sexy Jud Thorensen Laid Bare, New!' has direct links to them. The article explains why Jud's celebrity life is an open book. Even his sex life is exposed. The article also relates his background. It includes brief synopses of the novels and it includes the links to the first of each set of installments. Check out Jud here!

Thank you for this interview, Pattie. I love reading all your work and marvel at you and your loving family. I still cannot solve the mystery of how you accomplish all that you do with three lil angel boys to cherish and raise! It must be that you have an angel for a husband!

Thank you for letting me interview you. I really appreciated it. You are truly amazing who has a lot of inspiration on many writers. Hope you continue writing and I look forward to the next delightful, spicy, and sexy creation from your very talented imagination.

RM Gal's name seemed to change a couple of time in early 2010... dotworks... then RonMcQuade.. what's the deal? It just makes it seem like this content is not trustworthy when the subject is something as serious as a missing baby case.
