Interview with Sharon Morris

Why did I join AC? I was referred by a friend on Mylot who told me I could make money writing articles. Since I love to write anyway, I figured, why not get paid for it?

Who are your favorite content producers on AC? Just to name a few off the top of my head, Michelle Devon, Amy Brantley, Bridget Delaney, Rosa Hayes, and there are so many on my favorites list it would take forever to name them all. I currently have 65 on my favorites list and I try to visit each of them as I have time. There are some really awesome writers on here!

What are some of your favorite articles on AC? I love the articles that help other CP's with keyword density, I also love the how to articles, like there are a few on here how to make soap, how to make your own makeup, those types of articles are awesome.

What do you enjoy writing about? I have been writing home remedy articles and really enjoy them. My favorite one of all time was the one I wrote, Understanding the Mind of A Psychopath, I also like to write about things that have happened in my life. The ones from life experience are easier to write for me.

How do you choose your topics for writing? Life experience, I like to write things that will help others, like the home remedies I have been writing. I find topics online, in magazines, television, there are a lot of things to write about.

Do you think AC could be a part time or full time job? When I first started I wanted to make it full time but I have so many things to do that I can only use it as part time. I am still learning the keyword density so when I finally get that right maybe I can make it full time.I write for other sites as well so it will probably just remain part time with the rest of the writing I do online.

Do you think AC could support a living? Not until I get the keyword density right. I am not making much right now because I need to work on getting enough and not too many keywords in my articles. I am finding it hard because I feel like I'm repeating myself throughout my article.

What do you like about AC? I like being able to write what I want and get it published online. I like the little bit of money I make on here and I love the support I get from other CP's.

What don't you like about AC? I don't like the low pay but I have come to understand it is because I'm not using enough keywords in my articles for them to make money from my articles. If they can't make enough, they sure aren't going to pay me anymore than they are now. I don't like how they change my titles without letting me know or without letting me do it first. I also don't like how I can't edit an article after it has been published unless I publish it as display only.

If you could change or make something better, what would it be and why? I would like to be able to edit my articles after they have been published. If I see a mistake that I didn't catch before, I would like to fix it.

What advice would you give to other writers? Learn the keyword density techniques. Read more experienced CP's articles over and over again until you get it right because you need to learn it to make more money on AC.

What do you do when you are not writing for AC? I write for other sites, I go on writers forums to get advice, watch movies, read every Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Danielle Steele, Nora Roberts, Maggie Shayne book I can get my hands on. I also love to just sit and talk to my husband, talk on the phone with my mom, play with my dogs.

Do you have any pets? I love animals! I have 5 dogs and 3 cats. I had 2 rabbits but they both died last Fall.

Where is your favorite place in the world to go? Anywhere quiet to write stories. I love any and all amusement parks, I love roller coasters. Home is my favorite place to be most of the time.

What are your hobbies? Reading, writing, video games (if I have time) watching horror movies.

Who are your heroes in life? My brother was my number one hero when I was little. He died when I was 12 and he was 22. He inspired me to read and write and I have been doing so since I was little. Now my heroes are my mom and my husband because they support me in what I do and the authors of the books I read because they take me into different worlds and let me forget about my problems for a little while.

Where is your favorite place or places to eat? I love the Chinese Takeout place uptown, McDonald's, Long John Silvers, KFC, Dominoes, Pizza Hut. My all time favorite place to eat is outside in our yard in the summer time.

If you had a happy color what would it be? Purple and Blue! I love purple and blue!

How long do you plan on being with AC and why? As long as they are around and I have the internet. Why? Because AC was the first place I have been published and I will continue to write for them as long as I can. AC gave me a chance to make money writing and I love them for it!
