Prickly . . . oh my, that's not me, that's not my true identity.
I'm tasty, luscious, juicy sweet, not like those other fruity treats.
Well-rounded, pleasing to the palate, some say I'm even great in salad.
I'm able, ripe, with a sun kissed belly, to craft your pies, cakes, spreads and jellies.
Slices nicely ringed, well stacked, I'll look good in your produce rack.
No one else can fit your bill, or gratify your grocer's till.
Yes, Queen of Fruits, I'm royalty, you'll never find such loyalty.
My virtue is the best in town, who else would wear this green spiked crown.
