Previous to the hunt, design a list of rewards and how many hearts each reward is worth. Then, let her choose how she wants to 'spend' her hearts.

I think this is a unique idea because you can go as big or as small as you want. The rewards can vary from, you doing the dishes or giving her a back rub, all the way to going out to dinner, or going to a destination of her choosing. There really is no limit to how big you can get. All you have to do is base the number of hearts hidden and the level of finding difficulty on the level of rewards.
