You touched my lips
but kissed my soul
whispered in my ear
as I lost control
but kissed my soul
whispered in my ear
as I lost control
my body floating
off the ground
even the crickets
were void of sound
dark and still
the stars so bright
they disappeared
into the night
sanity escaped me
as you held me tight
the air so cold
your eyes so bright
I forgot to breathe
as your lips graced mine
my heart found a smile
my eyes began to shine.
