Into the Wild

Ed Robbins
All of these people
Are something that is in him
Yet he is nothing
He is somebody
Who is going to die
But he has no sadness
And no fear
So he is a kind of saviour
Who will pass away
Who will live
My time on Earth
May not last long
But I don't think it's
Important necessarily
To possess about the flecks and the scrapes
Against us.
Who isn't covered in dust?
Who isn't lost, found then forgotten?
So our chastity is a kind of badge
Our knowledge is a kind of flaw
That we must reiterate
Because, precisely because
It is beside the point.
