Intricate Lines

Carefully I lay them out.

Intricate lines are nice and clean.

The delicate touch of the pen to the paper

Needs to make sure the lines are lean.

A t-square in hand, a triangle, too.

Changing pens as line thickness needs to change.

The white starched paper is becoming alive

As the lines become patterns in such a range.

Repeating the same steps over and over,

Can be daunting without a template.

Scurrying along to make it right.

The intricate lines are formed within this new bracket.

I don't write as much as I used to, but I do find it as a way to put my thoughts on paper or on the computer.  View profile
