Introducing the RoboPhilo: Affordable Robot with Big Time Technology

This is Not Your Ordinary Toy Robot

Mottor
My friend recently introduced me to a new robotic toy known as the RoboPhilo. The RoboPhilo looks like the evil stepbrother of the RoboSapien robot. Comparing the RoboPhilo to the RoboSapien is something that we should never do again. This is because the RoboPhilo is highly technological piece of equipment that delivers an out of this world toy. More for those who like hobbies, the RoboPhilo is going to take the market by storm and I am going to give you a hands on review of the product.

Allow me to give you a solid visual image of the RoboPhilo. What you have is a robotic toy that comes pre-assembled. The RoboPhilo stands 13-inches tall and comes with 20 programmable servos. You can control the robot with either your PC or included remote. I found it much easier to control the robotic toy with the remote. Since the RoboPhil comes with two different ways to use it, you will find that the toy is fun to use for all robot levels at any age level. My statement was proved to be true as I saw my young nephew play with the machine as much as I did.

The 20 programmable servos allow you to control all of the major limbs. Watch as you are able to move the arms and legs all around. Even the head is able to move in several different directions. A cool feature is that all of the joints have been built in the proper spaces for each limb. This allows you the ability to control the robot with more mobility. Robots with this type of technology can usually cost you well over a $1,000. Luckily, the company that created the product has decided to release the robotic toy for $499. The best news is that the robot is currently available for the holiday season as well. This means that you could get one for this Christmas season and not have to wait for the next one to come around.

You will have to charge the robot quite a bit. This is because you will end up using it quite a bit. I saw myself becoming drawn in finding out all of the little things that the machine could do. You can pick up objects and have the RoboPhilo walk all around your home. Trying to control it on the PC proved to not be as much fun. One of the reasons for this is because you can not watch the robot in action. Using the remote allows you to point at the RoboPhilo and watch as it walks all around the room that you are playing in. You will not have to worry about purchasing batteries either. Since the robot comes with a charger, it also comes with a built in battery that should last you several years. If you are a robotic fanatic, the RoboPhilo is made for you. Cheap and fun to use, look for it while they last.
