Introducing Will

Tara M. Clapper
His face is profiled by the nearby promontory;
Though you'd misjudge him.
Hands rough from battle,
With just a few scars
And he won't mention war or glory.

Though terse,
He smiles at village children as they near him;
They're at play
And his mind is in the past.

He'll ask for her hand;
Simple ambitions, he has, after the woman of the woods--
Until he sees the horned ship breach the horizon.
