Intrusive Denial
This teasing darkness
Plays tricks on my mind.
Dancing shadows pretend
To be close enough to find.
Breathing covers up
The static that rules my life.
Echoes of empty promises
Begin to move to the side.
Drifting dreams fade
Into the seamless light.
As my intrusive denial maps
Out the vision for the ride.
