Invisibility and Stealthing in World of Warcraft PvP

Invisibility, or stealthing, in World of Warcraft is an important aspect of the game for many reasons, but one of the best ones for players at any level is the ability to sneak up on other players of around your same level and attack them without their knowledge (obviously if they are the other faction). This ability can be used by all players in some respect and is one of the best advantages for a player when trying to kill members of the opposite faction in World of Warcraft.

Stealthing is something that is generally thought of as a Rogue skill, and for good reason. Stealth is a cornerstone of playing as a rogue and therefore of utmost importance for those players. For PvP, a Rogue is especially helpful against most players as they can approach undetected and do severe amounts of damage before the player has any idea what's going on.

The other type of stealthing is invisibility. Invisibility is usually done using some type of potion that is created by a mage or other character with Alchemy or bought from someone. For the most party, invisibility potions give the player the ability to stay stealth, or invisible, for a period of time or until the player attacks something (in our case until the player starts to do some PvP killing). Invisibility potions are especially nice because they can be used by most any player and therefore if a person wants to do PvP sparingly but also have fun being a Warrior, Mage, or other class; they have the ability to do so using Invisibility potions.

One thing you should look out for especially when PvP'ing higher levels is that some high level characters (depending on how much higher than you they are) will be able to see you even if you are stealthed or using an invisibility potion. This could become a problem when you try to take on high level characters as part of a group as your whole first strike will be lost and most likely your entire team will die because they are probably depending on you to take out a good chunk of the player's health/mana with that blow.

In short, when playing World of Warcraft and especially when doing any type of PvP, don't forget that using some type of Invisibility potion or using your Stealthing ability is something that should not be forgotten about or taken lightly because it can have a game changing affect on the fight and also your PvP experience.
