I slowly unravel before your eyes,
but you are so blinded by your own pain
that you can't see.
I walk on nails,
trip over desire,
bleed passion,
cry oceans,
but you can't hear
my screams.
They are like a distant hum to you,
an insignificant noise
that you have no need of.
I lay naked and bleeding on the floor
while you step over me.
Sometimes I wonder if I am really here.
Sometimes I wonder if I am invisible...
just a figment of my own quite vivid
imagination.
