Iowa Forum Snubs Ron Paul; Accuses Supporters of Hacking into Website

Iowan Group Says Paul is Not a "Credible" Candidate

In a June 20 discussion with WHO News Radio 1040 talk show host Jan Mickelson, Ed Failor, Executive Vice President of the Iowans for Tax Relief, discussed the reasons why Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul was not invited to the June 30 Presidential Candidates Forum to be held in Des Moines on June 30.

According to Failor, Paul is not a "credible" presidential candidate. For planning purposes, Failor said that his group, along with the Iowa Christian Alliance, "made a determination" of who to invite to the forum. Failor said that the groups could not invite "every person who claims to be a candidate," and that in order to "serve our membership," the forum would only include the "most credible candidates."

When talk show host Jan Mickelson called Failor's excuse "lame," Failor responded that "we don't have to offer the forum to everyone." Failor went on to say that "a bunch of people from out-of-state are calling my home at all hours" to protest the decision to not include Paul in the forum. He also claimed that Paul supporters were trying to "hack" into the Iowans for Tax Relief server in an attempt to shut down his website. Failor said that his group made the right decision to not include Paul in the forum "if that's the kind of people who support him."

Failor also criticized Paul's campaign staff, saying Paul's website contained "lies" about the reasons given to the staff regarding Paul not being invited to the forum. Paul's website said that no reason for not being invited to the forum was given to the Paul campaign staff. Failor said that he told the campaign staff that Paul was not a "credible" candidate and that campaign manager Lew Moore "yelled" at him when told that answer. Failor concluded by saying that the Paul campaign has provided their supporters with "inaccurate" information and "lacks scruples," calling Paul a "fringe" candidate.

Ron Paul 2008 Chairman Kent Snyder responded by saying that Failor was "talking in circles" and that his explanation was "nonsense." Snyder said that Paul was the only candidate being excluded from this forum. The discussion ended with Mickelson saying that this was an "unnecessary controversy" and that Paul should be invited to the forum, especially since his "principles are in accord" with the organizations sponsoring the forum.

I was at the Iowa Ron Paul Rally - he had 1000+ supporters - at least double the people that attended the ITR Forum/Debate. Paul's supporters were energized - those that attended the ITR Forum were subdued. Interesting but Ron Paul's supporters outdrew all the forum's candidates supporters combined.

The only "hacking" that was probably done to their website was an overload of email telling them how stupid they looked keeping out the ONLY candidate (from either party) who I at least believe will TRY to offer tax relief to the middle class.

I use to have compassion for individuals who were "brainwashed" by the likes of "Failure"... However, now I can only feel sorry for you..

Leadership is Action Through *Example Not Position...

(It is not a position of power nor being in the right place at the right time, neither define leadership).

It is defined by setting the example through taking action on such Leadership Traits as Truthfulness! Honesty! Fidelity!

Ron Paul Has Acted Admirably On All These Leadership Traits:

"Truthfulness" first and foremost... Then: Principle, Integrity, Honesty,* Fidelity (to their oaths), Honor, Virtue, Compassion, Courage, Vision, Wisdom and Faith.

When backed into a corner, one can see the true character of a person. Mr. Failor is obviously biased against Dr. Paul and spreading any lies possible to discredit him and his supporters. Wake up America and see the wolves for who they are.

I want to see his proof of people "hacking" his server. I think that Failor is a LIAR. Anyone else notice he looks like Lex Luthor? All Ron Paul supporters near Iowa better show up en masse on June 30. If we don't see a video on youtube of hundreds of people there, it's gonna be very disheartening. Remember the power behind Ron Paul is ideas, and ideas are bulletproof. There is no stopping this campaign. Power to We the People.

Congressman Ron Paul represents small government, no taxes, and the ideas this country was founded on. Belmond, IA will be voting for Dr. Paul. I hope the rest of the country does as well.
Ron Paul will be the NEXT President of the United States!
