Iowa State Fair Grandstand Events Quick Review

The Iowa State Fair Grandstand Events provide something for a large variety of tastes and budgets. All concert seats are reserved and track events are general admission. Convenience charges apply to all tickets. The Iowa State Fair Ticket Office is open for walk-up orders only as long as tickets remain available. Note that Grandstand tickets do not include admission to the Iowa State Fair. Tickets for fair admission must be purchased separately.

Mercy Me and Newsboys - $28

Contemporary Christian group that won the hearts of millions with the hit song, "I Can Only Imagine."

Friday, August 13, 8 p.m.
Keith Urban with special guest Kris Allenn - $47

Keith was winner of two Grammy Awards, 12 number one singles, 3 consecutive number one albums and three-time distinction as CMAs Male Vocalist of the Year.

Kris Allen was crowned Season 8 American Idol. He's had five songs on the Billboard charts.

Saturday, August 14, 8 p.m.
Shinedown with special guest Chevelle - $28

Shinedown joined the rock and alternative rock scene in 2001 and continues to entertain on their most recent album, "The Sound of Madness."

Chevelle brings a raw, twitchy variety to the radio friendly brand of music. After a decade of recording, they are enjoying the live show scene.

Pat Benatar and REO Speedwagon with special guest Matt Woods & The Thunderbolts - $35

Pat has been rocking the stage since the early 1980s, emerging as a top female artist and a leading vocalist in the industry. One of Benatar's best known, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" is one of the songs that stands the test of time.

REO Speedwagon rolled onto the rock scene in 1971 and has been going full speed ever since. Small town America, especially just loves their music.
