The iPad is changing the face of education today. There are applications that help students with learning blocks. These applications show the information to students in ways that help them better understand and retain that information. It also offers a way to save the environment better by putting textbooks in a digital format that saves money for students and eliminates the waste of paper for books. Then there is the way that students are using the iPad instead of paper for writing. Even handwriting can be accomplished by using an iPad application. It is changing the face of education.

One client assigned me the task of finding applications for education. They wanted to write a documentary on the subject and needed both the information and some dialog for the actors. When I set out on the assignment I expected to find a few cute things to enhance the classroom. I was surprised at how much is available to change the face of education. It is astounding. Here is the video the sums up what I discovered: "iPad is Transforming and Teaching and Learning at All Levels."

Let's start with the iBooks section of the iPad. No more standing in line at the book counter for students attending University. As more universities and schools chose textbooks that are listed in iBooks, the faster this is happening. Many of the leading universities and schools are adopting the textbooks in the iBooks section of the iPad. Kaplan, McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin and Pearson all have ported their textbooks to the iPad and soon the iPhone for use through iBooks. It not only helps the schools and parents save money, but it also helps save the environment by eliminating the waste of physical paper textbooks.

Schools like Crestview Elementary in Clive, A are a prime example of schools that are making a difference in education today by adopting application for students. Their quest to go paperless is what matters for them. It is a shining example of success in education today. Any school could adopt a similar plan. Most school districts today have access the grants that cover the costs for any school's use.

Applications like "uPad" allow the student to write just like hey would if they had a pencil and paper. The only difference is they aren't wasting paper when they do this. It is also beneficial for students to learn about the modern aspects of this form of technology today. Here is a link for information:"uPad." It has far more uses than just handwriting. It can also be used to take notes and make calculations while performing math equations. The only difference is that paper is never used or wasted.

These are just a few ways that iPad is changing the face of Education today. It is amazing how well this kind of technology is making our planet greener and our classrooms better. Studies have shown that students that have had problem relating to subjects have actually thrived and gone on to study those subjects further because of an application from the iPad store. It is changing the face of education today for students, teachers and the planet.
