Impact - 19.95

This case is called Impact, and that is the last thing you will need to worry about. Your Impact case is (ironically) an impact absorbing case available in two colors. These choices are a preference, and some would say it is a straight forward, Black and White choice. The Impact is a slim silicone case with impact and shock resistance built in! All of your ports available, and will not hinder any use of your phone. The corners of this case have been specifically engineered to dissipate impact and shock away from your iPhone in case you drop it. This case also includes a protective screen protector without messy residue, a cleaning cloth, and an installation card. This case is designed specifically to work with the iPhone 3G/3GS 8, 16, and 32GB models. This is a relatively simple case. Simple does not mean bad by any means, it just does what it is meant to do. It protects your phone from dirt, dust, fingerprints, and some small accidents. I wouldn't trust it with a long fall, but if it drops out of your pocket when you stand up, you should be ok.

Defender - 49.95

The Defender is three layers of defense designed for protection of your iPhone while retaining its sleek look. This case comes in four colors, Black, White, Yellow, and Pink. The layers include a clear, thin membrane to protect your screen from scratches, oil, dirt, and finger prints. Next is the bulk of this case, a solid polycarbonate shield that protects your iPhone. Think of a Knight in Full Plate armor. Finally, in order to assist with shock absorbancy and to provide inpact resistance is a specially designed silicone skin that will keep your iPhone clean and ready to go! Also included is a Holster for your iPhone, which adds to the value, and ease of use. This particular case is the best bang for your buck. The case doesn't add a lot of weight or bulk to your iPhone, it keeps all of the functionality of the iPhone, and if you are a clumsy oaf like me, the shock absorption and suppression will definitely come in handy! If you want style and protection, this is going to be the best worlds. It offers a significant protection boost over the Impact, but offers more style and portability than the 2600 Series. The price point, for higher end cases, is pretty great too!

2600 Series - 49.95

Where the Defender is a Knight in Armor, think of the 2600 Series as a Batallion of Soldiers in a Sherman Tank! This case is waterproof, crushproof, and air tight! The best part of this case is that you still retain the use of your iPhone while it is in this case. Included is a built in holder for a stylus, and an adjustable hand strap to help you even further with keeping tabs on your iPhone. To make this iPhone case an even better value, is that you can also fit most PDAs on the market in this - your ultimate iPhone protection. You would think that for a case that is capable of holding several different styles of PDA, phones, and more, that it wouldn't keep your iPhone secure, but it is definitely a great fit for your iPhone. To be honest, it tends a little towards the bulky side, but what tank do you know of that was slender and sleek? If I were doing a lot of traveling, I think it would be the ideal case. Yes, it takes up that much more space in your bag, but it is going to survive the rigors of traveling much easier because of the nigh impervious case.

OtterBox make a great 'case' for investing in a good iPhone case. These are some of the top of the line products, and will keep your iPhone looking new, lasting longer, and allow you to express some individuality! They have cases for other smart phones and PDAs as well, so check out some of their sales if you are in the market for quality protection for any number of gadgets or gizmos you can imagine!

If you have a first generation iPhone, and you are looking for accessories, OtterBox has not left you out to dry. The Defender series case in Black or Pink is available to fit your 1st Generation iPhone perfectly. The 2600 Series will also work well with your 1st Generation iPhone.
