IPhone App Ru8n -Labyrinth Games Then and Now

As a lover of mazes and puzzles, starting from crosswords and one of my early childhood favorites, the wooden labyrinth, I have found a new love with the iPhone/iPod Touch application known as Ru8n [roo-eyt-in]. It's everything I hoped it would be and more. This unique game features 'the little square dude' on journey to his goal and yours- the end of some thirty plus levels. What makes this game like my childhood love, the wooden labyrinth game, is that you must turn the iPhone in different directions to get the little square dude to travel the maze; one false move and you are a goner, much like falling through the hole of the wooden labyrinth.

Unlike the wooden labyrinth that almost anyone can master in short order rendering the game relatively uninteresting is that you are constantly challenged with Ru8n, with ever increasing levels of difficulty and new skills to try. It's a great game for both reflexes in hand-eye coordination, in developing your skill at keeping your eye out for obstacles before they arrive and it's just plain fun and challenging. It's also hip to be square.

This game is full of quirky little sayings, interesting music levels that match the intensity of the game and well, 'the really cool square dude'.

My Recommendation: Sure you can buy the wooden labyrinth for about 19.99; find a place to store it when it's outrun its usefulness. Or if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, just download it for $1.99 and save a tree at the same time.
