IPhone and Its Use - Get Maximum Out of It

Apple Inc. is always pioneer of bringing new and innovative products to us. No one realized that iPod could be one of the most selling electronics products when first time Apple introduced iPod to market. Apple's theory was very simple. They targeted the most popular and equally applicable emotion of human being. It is very rare to one person in the world who does not love music. So starting from old day's radio to modern home theater - people are crazy about listening music. I guess having a portable, personalized music player is everyone's choice now-a-days.

The second most useful and widely used device is our mobile phone. No need to mention that Apple once again proved its power of innovation. Whenever I bought any new electronic device I always try to see the benefits out of that. From my experience I saw none of my investment went wrong. One in another way that helped me always.

Before buying apple's iphone I was thinking whether I really need that. Now, I guess I cannot leave without my iphone. The person who got the maximum out of it is my three years old daughter. Yes, I am not kidding!

Look and Feel

I still remember that day when one morning I showed her the new phone and an simple application of recognizing the shapes, she was so happy I can't express that in words now. Think about this that my daughter at her three year age she doesn't know what the iphone is! But still she was happy because she got excited to see something new and attractive. I don't know what she understood on that morning, but as per my perception surely she was pleased to see the look and feel of the device, the first thing about anything!

Great things are simple enough

Let me tell you another interesting fact. Soon after first day I gave the phone again to her and phone was lock using auto-lock feature. I did not tell her how to unlock that. I just gave that to her. She took it, looked at it for a minute and used her little figure to slide the unlock-bar and unlocked it! Please note that she did not understand the word 'Unlock' written there on the screen. This is the simplicity!

Usefulness

After unlocking the phone she started browsing the applications available in the pDisclosure: hone. Within few minutes she revealed many applications which got her interest. I downloaded couple of useful applications for her; for example, recognize and learn the shapes, memory games, word power, learn how to write A B C, learn how to draw shapes, various colorful drawing applications, kid rhymes, learn numbers, answer small questions, learn animals, flowers, vegetables etc, various puzzles (appropriate with age), pre-school games etc. Within a week she learnt many things from here. She learnt shapes, alphabets, words etc. very quickly.

I guess here is the power of technology and appropriateness to its audience.

Disclosure: Giving iphone to your child may not be good always. You need to be careful about how he or she is using it. Sensitive and adult applications should be blocked and password protected. Again extensive use of iphone may harm your child's health and may cause various side effects. This article does not tells you that you should give iphone to your child. This only tells how you can effectively use iphone for your child's mental growth and how it can help in learning. DO NOT give iphone to your child without your supervision.
