IPod Nano 4th Generation: A Review

Jimmy Smith
I recently purchased an iPod Nano. This is the 4th generation for the iPod Nano and it is definitely a hit. It is very tiny and has a huge screen, it is also very easy to use and conceal. This is a teacher and a school's worst nightmare, this is your bosses worst nightmare. Full length movies in the palm of your hand. Countless Mp3's and days of audio to take with you wherever you go. Apple has done it again.

The 4th Generation iPod Nano comes in many colors and weighs just 1.3 ounces. The iPod Nanos just keep getting smaller and smaller and the screen keeps getting bigger and bigger with every new generation. It really is amazing that Apple was able to do this. They have come a long way from the original iPod that is for sure. A big change with the iPod Nano is that Firewire charging is no longer supported. This was part of Apple's depart from the Firewire port that just recently returned on the new Mac book Pro.

The iPod 4th Generation Nano comes in either 8 GB or 16 GB which is more then enough space for your music library. An accelerometer was added to make it so you can change your iPod Nano's song by shaking it. How cool is that, that has to be one of the coolest things anybody has every invented. The battery last a whopping 24 hours, which is absolutely amazing. Who even listens to music for 24 hours straight without recharging it? It's almost like the iPod Nano makes having to recharge your batteries look like a joke.

It is very easy to sync your iPod to your car stereo speakers. The iPod has become a serious threat to the car stereo market every since it has been introduced. A new iPod Nano 4th gen cost about $150 dollars. A hefty price tag for a glorified walk man, but a reasonable one considering this glorified walk man can play movies in the palm of your hand. The 4th gen iPod uses flash memory to store all its files.

In conclusion the iPod 4th generation Nano is a great little machine for around $150 dollars. If you can get your hands on one you will be extremely happy and delighted with this little machine. Just don't take it to work or school too often, or you might find yourself in a bit of trouble!
