iPod Shuffle Should Be on Everyone's Christmas List

The Smallest iPod Apple Has Come Out with is the Best Deal Around

Jim Kelly
Everyone and their mother has to have some sort of a music playing device thats portable, can hold a lot of songs, and maybe even choose a song for you. Whether you're a Mac or a PC, it's clear to see that the most dominant music player out there today is an iPod. There are the old school ones that just play music, the new ones that can hold a library of thousands of songs and movies and music videos and smaller more colorful versions of those as well. The iPod that has come of age though, is the Shuffle.

When the iPod Shuffle first came out it was an elongated white box that played a limited number of songs and was a little bulky to be carrying around. When Apple upgraded to the smaller version it made the Shuffle more portable, flavorful, and sheik. Now the newest version of the Shuffle has come out and it's taking over this holiday season. Here are some of the exclusive features on the new iPod Shuffle:

- 5 bright colors (silver, pink, blue, green, and black)
- Holds up to 1,000 songs!
- 3 shuffle settings (random, in order, and off)
- About as small as a key
- The new VoiceOver (tells you what song is playing and by who so you can flip through your music faster)
- 2GB ($59) 4GB ($79)

There are some downfalls to the extremely chic device. A lot of people like to watch videos and actually choose the song they listen to. When listening to the Shuffle you can't just pick a song that you want to listen, the iPod chooses it for you. The new iPod Nano is out as well and it's the first iPod that acts as a camera as well.

However, the iPod Shuffle is the best deal this holiday season. The revamped Shuffle is inexpensive, holds up to 1,000 songs, and you can buy the one that matches your personality or just your favorite color (the Shuffle also comes in an exclusive Stainless Steel if you act fast). The best deal would be to purchase the 4GB Shuffle and spend the extra $20 to get double the amount of memory for more songs. This would make a perfect gift for anyone, and in particular anyone who enjoys the same genre of music. It's a thoughtful and great gift for parents and kids alike and it won't hurt your bank account.
