This more than likely does not astonish the rest of the world that Iran would be a safe haven for members and family member's of the Taliban and Al Qaeda due to the bull headness of Iran's government and their egocentric leader who wishes nothing short of the total destruction of the United States along with any of our allies.
This story though could be unnerving as it seems to be a possible humane effort to keep innocent people alive since most of these family members fled Afghanistan and different regions prior to the 9/11 attacks in a fear they would be hunted or killed for the actions committed by bin Laden. According to the 4th oldest son Omar Ossama bin Laden he has said that these family member's have received no terrorist training they are just victims and wishes their release to reunite with other family member's.
