Indianapolis Resource Center for Independent Living (IRCIL), a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity dedicated to building advocates and inclusive communities in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas, has recently hired long-time business director Dani Blanchard to head up its new Marketing and Development department.
Dani Blanchard leverages more than 20 years' of leadership in the non-profit and private sectors. After directing initiatives for the YMCA, Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS), and the United Way, Blanchard has recently bolstered her portfolio as an independent project management consultant within the private sector.
PROVEN EXPERIENCE
Having now rounded out her experience both within and outside the private sector enclave, Dani Blanchard offers much-needed advice for business of any industry:
"There are four key sectors that influence any socio-economic system: workforce development, health and wellness, education, and environment. I have made a point to build foundations in each sector over the course of my career. Most recently I rounded them off with solid experience in workforce development. "
CHALLENGE & SOLUTION
"I recognize a common thread shared by all of the organizations I have worked with: a need for structure and standards by which business may effectively operate."
To answer this need, Blanchard speaks openly of next steps.
"To call upon an internationally recognized business standard only makes sense. I look forward to the completion of my Project Management Institute certification to render transparency to both internal and external customers upon a well-recognized playing field."
Dani Blanchard looks forward to directing IRCIL's new Marketing & Development Department. She will spearhead new projects in donor development, individual giving, internal and external communications, and events planning.
