Ireland in 2010

Some of the wording in this poem is Irish "lingo". Hope it doesn't take away from the meaning.

Ireland in 2010

Hey Pat, what's the craic?
There you are Mick, how's tricks
and how's she cuttin' ?
Ah puttin' the best foot forward,
you know yourself.
How's the auld man?
Ah he does what he can.
There's not much doin'
spends his time quein'
for his dole.
The country's bunched,
the shaggin' credit crunch
has us in such a hole.
Me Ma just keeps cryin',
sometimes I think she's dyin'
from havin' no money,
it's just not funny.

That Celtic Tiger
bit us all in the ass,
what a farce.
The buildin' trade's ruined
by them millionaires.
Do they care?
No way, they're bein' bailed out.
There's no doubt
that money looks after money,
it's just not funny.

Hey Mick c'mon to the boozer
for a drink.
If them at the top
think we're loosers,
let them think again.
