Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and astonishing sights nestled in a natural environment that has not been spoiled by mankind, you will mingle among the Irish and experience for yourself the true generous hospitality of these warm-hearted people.
Shannon - What a great place this is. You will find that you are greeted warmly by all, everywhere you go. What a great welcome to Ireland! The beautiful, mist covered mountains and local legends only add to the excitement of the Ireland. You will see for yourself, the majestic cliffs that tower some 700 feet above the sea and follow the shore line for nearly 5 miles. You must visit Ireland's, 19th century, Bunratty Castle. Here you will see a slice of Ireland's history. Allow plenty of time here.
Dingle Peninsula - Nestled on the shore of Muckroos Lake is the 19th century mansion locals know as Muckross House. Here you can walk among the true to the century furnishings and get a real feel for life "back then". After exploring at Muckross, take a drive on to Dingle Peninsula. You will witness the splendor of the Slieve Mish Mountains. It was these mountains that were made most famous by the movie "Ryan's Daughter". On the Dingle Peninsula you will see the many faces of Ireland that are presented on postcards and books. The great cliffs and spectacular beaches are surrounded by the ever changing mountains. Here is where you will see some of Ireland's villages while spending your time surrounded by nature's beauty. This is one of the most beautiful regions.
Cork - Take a stroll through the village green and enjoy Cork's lovely gardens. Pay a visit to Shalom Park. The park opened to the public in 1989 and the Pedestrian Bridge was opened in 1977. Cork's first Jewish Lord Mayor, Alderman Gerald Goldberg, had the honors of opening the bridge. While visiting Cork, stop by the Old English Market. Not only will you find foods that are tradition in Cork, but at the market you will be able to find foods from all over the world. The market's origins date back to 1610. Many of the buildings you will see date to 1786. Be sure to visit the Cork synagogue as well as the University College.
Waterford - Is Ireland's ancient city. Waterford is graced with picturesque terrace homes, bars and quaint cafes that overlook the quayside. It is here that you will find the famous Waterford Crystal Factory. Spend some time visiting their splendid showrooms, making sure to watch the craftsmen at work. Ireland is famous for its many distilleries. While here, be sure to visit one (or more) of Waterford's distilleries. You will learn how water is combined with barley and distilled to make some of Ireland's finest whiskey. Yes, they do let you sample!
Dublin - Is, without a doubt, one of Europe's busiest cities, always bustling with activity. Dublin is a cosmopolitan city that is very young at heart. Make sure to take in a tour through the Georgian squares and lovely terraces. Dublin will reveal an atmosphere of goodwill that is reminiscent of the 18th century. Be sure to visit Trinity College. It is here you will find one of Ireland's greatest manuscript collections, as well as a collection of books in early print. Another great stop is the former Beth Hamedrash Hagadol Synagogue which now houses the Irish Jewish Museum. The museum is dedicated to the history of Jews in Ireland encompassing the history of the past 500 years. Dr. Chaim Herzog, former president of Israel was born in Ireland. It was he that founded this museum while on a state visit to Ireland.
