#1 Memphis Irish Pub and Bar - Silky O'Sullivan's
Silky O'Sullivan's is the Irish Bar on Beale Street to visit! Although you're going ot pay a few more pennies for a green beer on St. Patty's day here due to the location, it is a great place to take friends from out of town! A good sampling of Irish food can be found at Silky's, and it is worth a trip year round to the pub since they try to make 'everday St. Patrick's Day' !

#2 Memphis Irish Pub and Bar - Celtic Crossing
Located in the Cooper Young portion of Midtown, Celtic Crossing is a great place to drop by for a pint or fish and chips year round. Very popular on the weekends, you will want to get to the pub early on St. Patty's day to secure a table! Throughout the year, Celtic Crossing offers a wide array of live music along with a sports bar feel when big games are on the television. They also offer a huge selection of beer, wine, and whiskey to go with the great food!

#3 Memphis Irish Pub and Bar - Dan McGuinness
There used to be two locations for Dan McGuinness in Memphis, but the Peabody Place location was shut down in conjunction with a major remodeling effort. As a result the only location still open is the East MEmphis location. Regardless, Dan McGuinness is a great Irish pub to visit for St. Patrick's day! Their food can't be beat with authentic Irish cuisine such as Shephard's Pie, Bangers and Mash, and Irish Stew on the menu. Additionally, they always have live music, trivia contests on Wednesdays, karaoke, and other special events!

#4 Memphis Irish Pub and Bar - T.J. Mulligan's
T.J. Mulligan's is another local Irish bar located close to the Pyramid in the Pinch Disrict that is under the same management as Dan McGuinness. A very similar atmosphere, but perhaps with a little more character, the pub will get packed by 6 pm on St. Patty's day! Don't forget to get there early to get some of the great food, and hang out with the bar staff and locals before the pub gets packed! When going to T.J. Mulligan's, ensure you observe the parking restrictions in the district, or your car WILL get the Boot! If you're not downtown, there are a few other local area T.J. Mulligan's to check out as well!

Murphy's is a great little Irish-themed pub that has been open since 1977. A nice patio area for celebrating St. Patty's day when the weather's nice, live music, darts, and pool, there is great beer and whisky to go with a decent bar menu! If you hit the pub during the day, Murphy's also has free wi-fi available if you're looking for a nice place to grab a pint and get a bit of work done.
