Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast - Product Review

Kassidy Emmerson
I love the smell of Irish Spring soap, but it doesn't do much for my skin. I have dry, sensitive skin, so I need to use cleansers that will add moisture, yet not irritate. That's why I was pleased to spot Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast at the store recently. I envisioned the green bottle to contain a green cleanser that had the same lusciously fresh smell that a bar of Irish Spring soap has. Boy, was I dreaming! Read this informative Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast - Product Review and find out all about it!

Price and Availability

I found Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast at my local Kroger. I believe the regular price is $3.59 for a large 18-ounce bottle. I was glad to buy it on sale, 2 for $6.00.

I assume Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast is available at most drug stores. If you can't find it locally, you can order it online at web sites like amazon.com or drugstore.com (see resources).

Ingredients

The ingredients in Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast are: water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Decyl Glucoside, Fragrance and Glycol Distearate. Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast also contains Laureth-4, DMDM Hydantoin, Polyquaternium-7, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Ext. D&C Violet No. 2 and FD&C Blue No. 1.

Product Description and Use Results

I got a chuckle when I read the back of the Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast bottle. It reads, "First Timer? It's not complicated: Squeeze gel onto your hand, washcloth, or pouf. Work up a rich lather as you scrub. Rinse- Enjoy 8 hours of freshness."

When I first used Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast, I was surprised to see a blue gel instead of green come out of the bottle. The cleanser doesn't smell like the Irish Spring bar soap either. The back of the bottle says "You're holding an entire country of freshness in one convenient bottle- that smells crisp and fresh all day!" Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast does have a clean, fresh fragrance to it. It doesn't take much on a washcloth to create a rich, luxurious lather either.

I feel clean and invigorated after I use Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast. The family says they can smell it all over the house when I shower. Does the scent last? I'm not sure if it actually lasts for 8 hours, but I do smell good for at least awhile after bathing with Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast.

The price, the scent, the lather is all well and good. More importantly, my skin feels soft and supple after I use this cleanser. I don't get the "Winter Itchies."

If you have dry skin, I highly recommend trying Irish Spring Body Wash- Moisture Blast. I give it 10 stars out of 10!
