5 lbs potatos
1 med. size cabbage
2lbs carrots
1 large onion or 2 large leaks
garlic to taste
sea salt
black pepper

peel and cut up potatos, put in pot ,add water (or broth) to cover potatos. Boil for an hour or until soft. cut cabbage into quaters add to potatos, add more water. add carrots, onion/leaks and garlic. boil until carrots are soft. stew should be thick.
