Ringing
Every clang, another stitch in
the seam of brotherhood for
those molded in iron
Ringing
Each collision, a testament to
dedication - mind over matter and
will sitting high above pain
Every clang, another stitch in
the seam of brotherhood for
those molded in iron
Ringing
Each collision, a testament to
dedication - mind over matter and
will sitting high above pain
Grunts and chants
Veins pushing 'gainst flesh
Sweat slowly becoming a baptism of
strength and a unique elixir of desire
And rarely -
if want is more than body can contain -
if need flows over the brim of life's cup -
from a nostril, or two, comes crimson reward
