Ironic

Kitty Stevens
It is really ironic how you said,
I have to be the only one and simply won't share.

Looking back I remember that this was something
that you never seemed to bare.

I recall the people that came through your life,
"it's only a lunch, with just a bunch of friends," you'd declare.

Yet here you are saying this now.
It seems my dear that the "shoes' on the other foot."

So tell me dear,
how does that feel?

It must feel ironic.

FYI - I don't always write about me personally. ;) Sometimes its sort of channeling other emotions. Thanks everyone for reading my writing.
