Irving Berlin's White Christmas will be showing at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis, TN from December 4th - 9th. The Orpheum Theater is located in downtown Memphis at 203 South Main Street. What better way could there be than to get into the Christmas spirit by attending the Broadway musical classic White Christmas?

White Christmas will be showing at the Orpheum beginning on December 4th. Show times are as follows : Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (December 4th - 6th) at 7:30 PM; Friday, December 7th at 8 PM; Saturday, December 8th at 2 PM (matinee) and at 8 PM; and Sunday, December 9th at 1:30 PM (matinee) and 7 PM. Tickets range in price from $15 up to $75, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster (901-743-ARTS) or directly at the Orpheum Theater box office (203 South Main, Memphis, TN, (901) 525-3000). Irving Berlin's White Christmas was originally released as a movie in 1954. The all-star cast included Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, Grady Sutton, Sig Rumann, Barrie Chase and George Chakiris. Irving Berlin's most famous (Christmas) song came was made popular and became widely known from White Christmas, with the title of the song being the same - "White Christmas". Since 1954, several big music artists have recorded their own track of "White Christmas". They include : Kenny Rogers, Kenny Loggins, Gloria Estefan, Vince Gill, Michael Bolton, Willy Nelson, Garth Brooks, Kenny G, Mannheim Steamroller, Destiny's Child, Brooks and Dunn, LeeAnn Womack, Bette Midler, and the Vienna Boys Choir. White Christmas is filled with more wonderful music such as "Blue Skies" and "How Deep is the Ocean?", to name a few. The story of White Christmas takes place during the holidays/Christmas season. The setting is a small town inn in Vermont. Two buddies that are in the business of show business are working together to put on a show in the Vermont inn. In the process of putting on the show, the find romance and mates. The story of White Christmas is a magical production that will bring joy during the holiday season. The show is musical, so there is going to be an abundance of singing and dancing as well.
