Is America Becoming a Police State?

Thomas Jefferson stated, "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Sounds familiar these days doesn't it?

Interesting how history, words spoken by one of America's greatest Statesman, is playing out in America today and we have just touched the beginning of something much larger than Thomas Jefferson could ever imagine.

Something more insidious appears to be brewing that would make many Marxists' around the world pleased.

"We cannot expect the Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism." - Former Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev, 1959

America is now at a crossroads and what is sad, not many seem to know a thing about the US Constitution but act like they do - or better yet, government will take care of them; every single need and want imaginable. It amazes me when I hear people state, "This is a Democracy." Sure it is, but it is also a "Republic". I suppose that is not taught in school these days or is the word "Republic" too hard to comprehend?

However, it is not just the American people, the average person, it bodes well with politicians, mainly the liberals who seem to use the constitution when it suits them but outside of that, it is just a piece of paper - and no, Former President George Bush did not say that as proof has never been provided that he did - oh how liberals will spin something and then act like everyone will agree with them.

Unfortunately, some do. They will believe the sky is really orange if a liberal says it is - really, I am serious.

One has to really wonder why some are too blind to understand that America is not immune to any takeover of the liberties and freedoms that Americans enjoy - oh, and these rights are guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution must strike the inner fears of the Liberal Elites who have yet to figure out on how to overturn such a document without worrying about the town hall protesters - those evil-mobsters that are terrorizing the Democrats with their freedom of speech.

Squash the evil mobsters and you have a perfect set-up of a police state. During the pathetic reign of evil man himself, Adolf Hitler, Hitler's Germany became the Nazi police state and in doing so, millions paid the price and such a state was designed to make sure that every single person did what they were told or they paid a serious price.

In America, since the 2008 presidential election, some interesting comparisons have come to past that would make any Socialist or Marxist proud. As with the Hitler election, there were those that supported him and those who did not. With the Obama 2008 election wins, there were those who supported him and those who did not. Obviously, this is not unusual in any American election whether it is local or on the national level - but this is where the similarities end.

During the 2008 election cycle, liberals were accusing in mass numbers that those that did not support Obama was either racists or they didn't love America enough to help elect a black man to office. That is like saying that when one hates apple pie; let's burn all apples and fire the bakers.

Conservatives, Republicans and the mix of the two have become a major target for the left-wing liberals -- not that we haven't been hated in the past -- but this time, it is different and it is personal.

Hitler made it personal during his reign against the Jews and anyone who was not a perfect human of the perfect race. For those that were a constant thorn in his side, the tactic of intimidation was used and might I say, unfortunately, used effectively. A wrong comment, an inappropriately-worded sign, or just plain on the wrong side of the tracks had serious consequences. Hitler's rule is that if you did no harm, you were left alone; speak out and you were history.

Since Obama's election, history is repeating itself and it's no surprise by any imagination. Let's face it, depending on the government for everything began way before Obama's election but this time, with a twist.

The tactic of intimidation has returned but this time, in America.

The intimidation tactics are not necessarily being utilized by Obama himself, but his administration and the lunatic left-wing groups are doing it for him, just like the Nazi party did for Hitler.

What intimidation? Okay, you asked for it.

-- Ask Brenda Lee, a black female journalist who was dragged, kicking and screaming away from Air Force One and all she wanted to do was to give Obama a note concerning traditional marriage. Was she a threat? She was no more a threat than an ant sun-bathing.

-- Or how about The New Black Panther Party who wielded weapons, blocked polls, insulted whites at an election polling booth in Philadelphia? Or as one Black Panther stated, "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker". And worst yet, charges were dropped against these lower than dirt racist group. Who in their right mind allowed a federal offense to occur and then let them walk free after they were charged? A felony is a felony - but never seems to be in this liberal controlled government mind. Protecting these useless racists reminds us - for those who know history which seems to not be the case these days -- how Hitler protected his Nazi party and the SS.

-- Turn in your neighbor for discourse against the Anointed One? That is a good one - but I guess the heat got too hot, so the flame was extinguished at the White House but the damage has already been done.

-- Then of course, we cannot ignore the liberal-based media who protected Obama during his campaign run and then had the nerve to ignore the rampant election fraud.

-- The proposed takeover of health care like we need the government to baby-sit us and spoon feed us with how much they care and will dish out our own medical needs.

There is a pattern emerging and that pattern is not something you will find on your favorite afghan designed and tailored in the '50s by your grandmother.

The US Constitution means something and is not a piece of paper. Every citizen of the United States is protected by that document.

No person, no government, and no court can take that away from any of us and if screaming louder to protect that document as well as our rights is what it takes, then that will be the cause to support. People too often forget that there is a reason for the Founding Father's vision "of the people, by the people, and for the people" - not just for Liberals to take out of context.

Instead of pushing America toward a Socialist police state - the Obama and Liberal way - let's hand out the US Constitution to every Liberal - sort of like a renewed history lesson that many obviously slept through in history class - to re-educate.

It might actually inspire an awakening of intelligence - that is "real" change we can believe in.
