Is Arnold Schwarzenegger Giving Maria Shriver Everything She Wants?

Abby Greenhill
Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably getting used to his name being reported over and over regarding his wife Maria Shriver, his other woman and his love child. There is good publicity and then there is this type of publicity.

Marie and Arnold have lawyers, and they are letting the hired help iron out all the details of the financial arrangements that pop up when a divorce splits a family in two. Many couples go through a divorce and try to divide things equally including money and possessions. When there is a lot of money involved it is no easier to do than if there was only a few dollars involved.

Actually, getting the finances worked out before the divorce is final makes sense. According to Wonderwall, Arnold Schwarzenegger is worth $300 million. Word is out that Arnold is willing to give Maria everything she wanted and more. The man is obviously caught between a rock and a hard place. He did the deed; he lied; now he'll pay.

Will they split his fortune down the middle or will he give Maria Shriver, his wife of 25 years and mother of his four children, a little more than a 50-50 split? She deserves the bigger slice of the pie for being lied to and cheated on all these years. Word on the street is that Maria should wind up with around $100 million. She is entitled to half of his money that he earned since their marriage.

Maria's concern is that her children will be taken care of. As far as reconciliation with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria says no way to that happening.

Women have been known to change their minds when it comes to divorce and they get a little worried about being along. Maria doesn't have those fears. She's a strong woman who will be fine on her own. She is perfectly capable of taking care of her own life; she's a Kennedy after all. What Arnold did to her, to their marriage, was totally unfair and no woman should stand for it.

When the world blew up in his face regarding his secret life, did he think it would all be swept under the rug? Did he think Maria would be a woman who would forgive and forget? Being married to someone for 25 years you almost know how they will react to certain situations. I'm sure Maria's reaction was not a surprise to Arnold.
