"Please do not touch me." She pleaded softly. "Why, Iris we have known each other for how long now? I am merely being friendly."
"You do not have to put your hands on me to be friendly." She cautioned. Iris dropped the conversation and went in to the barn. Beau followed her inside. "Iris, what in the devil has come over you? You and I used to be so. . .close. Do not tell me that husband of yours has changed your feelings for me?" He said flirtatiously as he touched her face. "Please don't." Iris pushed his hand away gently. He grabbed her wrist and squeezed it firmly. "Do not tell me what I can not do." He commanded in a low chilling whisper. "Take your hands off of me!" She shouted as she jerked her wrist from his grip. Iris attempted to flee from the barn, but Beau pulled her back violently. "No one, especially a woman ever disobeys me!" Beau yelled as he slapped her across the face.
"Leave me alone!" She screamed and then struck his face. "How dare you!" Beau moved in closer and then pushed Iris to the ground. She landed on her back in a stack of hay. With tears in her eyes she pushed herself up and ran to the back of the barn. "Come back here! I am not finished with you!" He grunted. Beau walked through the barn searching for Iris' hiding place.
She crouched silently behind an old carriage wheel. Iris watched him maneuver through the dark and crowded barn. The fear was building up as he came closer to finding her. "Come on out, Dearest Iris. I only want to finish what we started so many years ago. Oh I am sorry, you have probably forgotten about that by now. What a minor altercation it was though. I am only sorry that you did not let me ravage you then. We would not be going through this right now."
As Beau passed the carriage wheel he saw the tip of a boot sticking out from behind it. He smiled deviously to himself. Beau stepped quietly around the corner. Her back was turned to him, so she did not see him come from behind. "At last we have found each other once again." He whispered. She leapt up from the ground when she heard his voice. "You stay away from me!" Iris warned as she backed away from him slowly. "I would like to see you try and stop me. We have something in common remember?" Beau replied as he moved closer. Finally there was nowhere else for Iris to go. She suddenly found herself cornered between the wall and Beau. "Please do not hurt me." She begged shuddering at his movements. "I am not going to hurt you. I just want you to give me what I rightfully deserve."
"I will give you what you rightfully deserve!" With that angry and spiteful reply, Iris kicked him in between the legs. Beau fell to the ground shouting obscenities at her. "It serves you right for trying to hurt me!" She added wiping the tears from her eyes. "Dearest Iris, I am not finished with you by far." He grunted under his breath. Beau reached for her ankle and pulled her to the ground. "This time you will give me what I want!" He shouted as he started to rip her blouse open. "No!" Iris uttered out a loud cry and kicked him in the ribs sending him flying across the room. She got up off of the ground and ran out of the barn holding her blouse together and crying frantically.
As she fled for the manner a concerned Hyacinth looked on. A mortified expression crossed her face."Someone must stop him." Hy remarked to herself as a humiliated Beau emerged from the barn.
