Is Beyonce Pregnant?

Angela Keyes, Mariah Carey and Now Beyonce

Malina Debrie
We first heard of Alicia Keyes and her baby conceived out of wedlock with a married man. Don't get me wrong, I believe every baby is a gift from God. The problem I have is when a baby is conceived out of wedlock and with a married man.

Next we have Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon who are pregnant. Today, we received official word along with confirmation that Jay-Z and Beyonce are pregnant. It's wonderful to know the last two pregnancies were conceived well after the marriages of these two superstar families. Something quite unusual in Celebrity land these days.

For those who are ready to protest the statement that these couples are pregnant, I know, its not the man who is carrying the baby and most will argue the man has absolutely no birth related issues. Some will argue that the woman is pregnant, and is the only one who feels every pain of a life growing inside her. But it takes two to make a baby and the man does indeed have some pains from a pregnancy. Some fathers even feel the actual morning sickness and other symptoms his significant other is experiencing.

But I digress. According to MediaTakeOut.com, it's confirmed, Beyonce and Jay -Z are expecting their first child. Approximately four weeks ago, this celebrity news giant got a hint of the pregnancy from an undisclosed source. At the time of the disclosure, the source, someone very close to the family, asked that the news be held until the mega super star was well past her gestation period. Well she is now well past the 3 month safety zone.

Everyone is overwhelmingly happy with the news of the couples first child. Beyonce is expected to deliver sometime during mid April 2011. And if you remember the wedding, Beyonce and Jay-Z were married in April.

The announcement should come through Peoples Magazine soon. However, MediaTakeOut.com is claiming first dibs on breaking this one.

Congratulations to Jay-Z and Beyonce. We pray for a healthy baby in April 2011.

Hopefully they will stay in wedlock too, unlike so many celebrity couples.

Although many babies are conceived out of wedlock, it is great to know that these couples are married to give the baby a great start. Congrads. It's nice to see hiphop stars that start their families off right.

Congrats to Beyonce and JayZ. Congrats to Alicia if this is her choice. Her personal relationship with a married man really is between her, him and his wife. Children in this day and age are more resilent then we give them credit for.

It is time that people in the public eye realize that they set an example and it helps if they take the high road. I always feel for the wife left behind, it can't be easy.

I wanted that title and so it stays. However, I am not sure what you mean by 'granted'. Your sacrcasm is noted. I am like everyone else very much 'human'. I have discovered thought that life affords us some of us a portion of wisdom and that wisdom should be passed on to others whetehr they accept it or not, it is given. While marriages may end long before an affair, most do not end at all. My statement is made to emphasize the impact this has on a child and what some children go through when they begin to question their conception. It is not about Alicia Keyes or the father, the problem is about 'morals, the sanctity of marriage and the resulting children born.' There is no judgement intended in the comment. I think you might have misread and misinterpreted the meaning or rationale behind the statement.

Oh...correct the title of the article:)

Your comments are somewhat granted. Everybody's morals are not a pure as yours. Yes, I am being sarcastic. King Solomon was conceived in an adulterous relationship and sought God's wisdom above all. Don't judge her (Alicia) for her decision, she may already be dealing with that. But she has since rectified the "issue" by marrying the father of her child. Remember, marriages are often over long before an official divorce.

Alicia Keyes is an amazingly talented young lady. she is also very well versed and has done some wonderful things. I only wonder why she would resort to having a child with this individual when she deserved and could have had so much better. I have no right, cannot and will not judge the individuals. However, I can and I have the right as you do to my 'questions.'

To Real: Believe me and please try to understand. A baby, no matter how or to whom he has been given is a gift from the Lord. The only issue stated regarding Alicia Keyes is that this situation leaves a child wondering the when, where and why of and question their conception facts. When they discover that maybe their parents were not married at the time or their dad was married to someone else, they begin to think deeper. We have no idea the magnitude of their analuysis, but I often wonder if the reason our children go through so much and some seem so angry is because of things going through their heads such as the situation of the 'what and when' surrounding their birth. We can confess our love to them forever and it does help, but they often still question why! Why couldn't you wait, why couldn't you get married before, why did you sleep with a married man!
