Is the Bible Really True?

All Scripture is Inspired by God and is Profitable for Teaching, for Reubuking, for Correcting, for Training in Righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16)

Is the Bible really true? Is it really the inspired Word of God?

Oh, absolutely. And here's the proof:

Fulfilled Prophecies

In the Bible you will find hundreds of prophecies that have been historically fulfilled. For example, Micah: 5:2 identifies Bethlehem as Messiah's birthplace 700 years before the Lord Savior Jesus Christ was born. And, in no uncertain terms, the suffering servant passage of Isaiah 52-53 describes Jesus Christ's substitutionary atonement for the sins of humanity. Amazingly, the Old Testament contains over 300 messianic prophecies, all of which have been fulfilled by Jesus Christ.

Unity and Continuity

The Bible was written over a span of fifteen hundred years by 40 different authors. It was written in different times and in different places using three different languages. Yet despite this tremendous diversity in terms of authorship and languages, the Bible tells a single story: the fall of humanity and God's gracious plan of redemption through the atoning sacrifice of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise God that He has chosen to speak to us through His Word. Praise God that He offers us the free gift of eternal life. All He asks of us is that we repent and, by faith, believe that Jesus died in our place.

Thank you, Jesus!

Would you like to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

Would you like to have a deeply intimate, eternal relationship with your Creator - the One Who loves you unconditionally? You can use the prayer below:

Father God,

I want to turn away from my sins. I believe Jesus died in my place on the cross. I believe that He rose from the dead and I desire to place my trust in Him as my Savior and the Lord of my life. Thank you for forgiving me and accepting me into Your family, Father God. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
