Is the Bible Trustworthy?

Christina Armani
Christians shouldn't be asking if the Bible isn't trustworthy. They might as well be asking if God is real or not. The Bible may be taken too literally by most people, but it's trustworthy. We need to believe that the scripture really is God breathed and delivered. The Bible is a sacred book to Christians, and has been trusted for many centuries. Many people still swear on the Bible today, in courtrooms, in living rooms, and in churches. People in every continent in the world read the Bible, which can't be said for any other book. Pastures read from the Bible on Sundays, people have bible studies in their owns, and they turn to the Bible for comfort because they trust the words in the Bible. If we can't have trust in the Bible, what can we have trust in?

The Bible is no less trustworthy than science. In fact, you don't have to disbelieve one to believe the other. Science and religion can coexist and not be two completely different things. Anything is possible when it comes to God, so isn't it possible that God used science to create the world and mankind? Isn't it possible that God himself created science? The world is full of evidence proves that they're both right. The fact that we're even asking this question shows that we're closed minded and losing faith.

The Holy Bible is the word of God, and should be revered as the truth. The Bible is no less trustworthy than any other book out there. The Bible isn't as provable as skeptics wish it was, but we must have faith in the book of God. As a holy book, the Bible is the most trustworthy book ever written. How can the most widely published book in the world not be trustworthy?

The Bible can be trusted because it contains accurate accounts of real events. The stories in the Bible were written by people who experienced them, so of coarse they're trustworthy. The Bible has been around for almost two thousand years now and still has not been disproved. No one has the right to tell you whether to trust the Bible or not. It's up to you to determine your own belief in the Bible.

As a Christian, I find the Bible to be completely trustworthy. Any holy book or document is worthy of being trusted. As long as we don't have proof that the Bible shouldn't be trusted, we need to believe that the Bible is truly accurate. Christians are asked not to question their faith, and that includes not questioning Gods word. Christians must believe in the Bible, and have faith in it. Is the Bible trustworthy? You bet your bottom dollar it is.

I applaud your faith in the Bible. But, it would be good to be able to give some reasons for that faith, so that others might become a believer also. I would suggest you begin by reading my three articles on science vs. Bible.
