Is Bird Government Testing Related to the May 21, 2011 End of the World Date?

The term "bird government testing" is hot right now, and a bunch of dead birds could give credence to Harold Camping's prediction that the world will end on May 21, 2011, much to the chagrin of those that believe the Mayan calendar's end date of December 21, 2012. So what does bird government testing have to do with the possibility that the end of the world might occur on May 21, 2011?

Well, the term "bird government testing" is hot right now because thousands of birds recently fell from the sky in Arkansas, a creepy event that some religious fanatics might compare to some of the cataclysmic events in the Bible involving animals like locusts and frogs (even though these creatures had to be alive in order to properly punish the people of Egypt). And if the mystery of birds falling from the sky wasn't enough of a creepy event to invoke thoughts of the end of days, about 100,000 fish were found dead along a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River. So is Arkansas ready for the rapture?

Well, Harold Camping might think so. The evangelical radio personality could definitely use these news stories to his advantage, since he thinks we're on our way to the end of the world on May 21, 2011. He dismisses the Mayan heathens' much-talked about date of December 21, 2012 in favor of one much sooner, based on his own calculations. However, those looking forward to seeing Jesus on May 21, 2011 might want to avoid getting too excited. Harold Camping has made a prediction that Jesus would return before, but he was a no-show on September 6, 1994.

So while Harold Camping tries to find a way to use these mini animal apocalypses to his advantage, scientists are trying to figure out what happened to these poor godless creatures. But right now "bird government testing" is a popular search term it seems not because the government is testing the birds to find out what happened to them, but because Paul Watson and Alex Jones suggested that secret government weapons testing might be responsible for the event. Other more plausible theories on what could have killed the birds include a lightning strike, hail, or New Year's Eve fireworks. As for the fish, it seems that their deaths might have been disease-related (so this was a plague on the fish, not human beings).

So as far as the bird government testing and the May 21, 2011 end date go, it looks like there's nothing to see here. But if these stories are making headlines in 2011, I can't imagine what craziness we'll see in 2012.

    NO

    Matthew24:
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall

also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before

the flood they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage, until

the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came,

and took them all away; so shall also

the coming of the Son of man be.
