Is Bobby Cutts Jr., An Ohio Police Officer, Responsible for the Death of Jessie Davis?

Ainsley Patterson
Bobby Cutts Jr., an Ohio police officer, is charged with the murder of Jessie Davis, his pregnant girlfriend and mother of his 2 year-old son. This case has unleashed a flood of information about Bobby Cutts Jr. and his alleged history of abusive behavior.

A few months before being charged with the murder of Jessie Davis, Cutts's visitation rights with his 9 year-old daughter from a previous relationship with Nikki Giavasis because of evidence pointing to physical and emotional abuse.

Bobby Cutts Jr. claims that he is not responsible for the death of Jessie Davis, but rather, only for the removal of her body. Bobby Cutts Jr. claims that he found her at the scene, she reached for him and then died. Then Cutts proceeded to call a friend who aided him in the removal of Jessie Davis's body, which he claims to have only done because he feared that no one would believe him.

So, did Bobby Cutts Jr. kill Jessie Davis?

No one can say for sure whether or not Bobby Cutts Jr. is responsible for the death of Jessie Davis, unless there is an eyewitness out there being very tight-lipped, and our answer to the above question may be swayed by our own views of police officers.

I have had my fair share of experiences with police officers, and the majority of them have been unpleasant, especially those that occurred when my black boyfriend was with me. I have been patted down, had my car thoroughly searched, and have been asked countless times if I had drugs in the car, which is quite frustrating to me since I have never so much as smoked a joint. I have even had my bra shaken out by a female officers after being pulled over late at night with my boyfriend.

There are experiences in every person's life that shake them to their core and open their eyes wider than they ever thought imaginable, and my experiences with police officers when driving with my boyfriend are at the top of my eye-opening experiences.

Some people view police as courageous super-humans that put their lives on the line for the sake of ours, others view police officers as prejudicial thinking thrill-seekers. My view of police officers is somewhere in the middle.

Given my experiences with police officers in combination with what I have witnessed as one half of an interracial couple would lead me to ask to be dismissed as a juror in the trial of Bobby Cutts Jr. or any other police officer.

It appears that the evidence against Bobby Cutts Jr. could only lead one to believe that he is guilty as charged, unless of course you believe his story about only moving the body out of fear that no one would believe that he wasn't responsible for the death of Jessie Davis.

I can't say that I, without a doubt, believe Bobby Cutts Jr. is guilty of Jessie Davis's death, the evidence against him paints him as an abusive man. I also can't say that my previous experiences with law enforcement wouldn't sway my opinion one way or the other.

The only thing I can say for sure is that it isn't looking good for Bobby Cutts Jr. at this point.

I had already concluded he was guilty before even noticing the race of his wife. He "accidentally" elbowed her in the throat hard enough to kill her, poured bleach on the FLOOR to revive her and then wrapped her in a comforter, threw her in the back of his truck and dumped in a park!?? yeah right

That happened with my very white aunt and my very black uncle a lot too. A lot of people seemed shocked -- and maybe it's because it's just where I live -- that my aunt wanted some chocolate, as she put it :P

My thoughts--Bobby did it. The dealings that I've had with police officers are mixed. Some were really nice and only one was really a big fat a-hole. Anyways, I can certainly understand your feelings. Unfortunately, there are so many police officers that should either be in jail or at least have a different occupation. And then there are those who are absolutely great. It's kind of like the luck of the draw when you get pulled over.
