Is the Body of Christ Committing Spiritual Suicide?

I want to talk to you about a spiritual movement that is going on in the world today. It is happening in our churches, government, schools and health care. It is attempting to indoctrinate the world. I want to specifically focus on the church. This movement must be successful in the church first, in order for it to spread. If you haven't noticed we are in the last days. God's plan is that the gospel be preached so that many can be saved. The devil agenda is to create deception and confusion. He will use fear, intimidation, lack and poverty to accomplish his will. He is preparing the world for his ruler, the anti-christ. He is also attempting to lead many astray in the Body of Christ . This movement is one way he is moving his agenda forward.

What is this spiritual movement? This movement seeks to change everything, including the gospel of Jesus Christ. It will change prayer by using contemplative prayer, or sometimes called prayer soaking or breath prayers. It will disguise itself in teaching, where the truth is twisted just enough to become a lie. It will disguise itself as worship, attaching a Christian label but no anointing will be present. It has many names, faces and associations. The one that seems to be most prominent is called Contemplative Spirituality. This movement has its roots in the occult. (John 10:10) It is even referred to as ancient. It has slipped into our churches through a form of prayer, teaching & worship. It is labeled as new way to hook up with God. However, when you look closely at its fruit (what it produces), it is rotten to the core!

Contemplative Spirituality has many different names. It has been called The Spiritual reformation; the Age of Aquarian; the New Age Spirituality. You will hear such words as the emerging church and post modern transition associated with it. Many are not aware of it or that it even exists. If you type the words Contemplative Spirituality into Google; you will see the word "mysticism" also. What is mysticism? Mysticism is defined as occultism. This is a religious "counterfeit spirit" that is seeking to lead God's people astray and destroy them. Jesus said In 1 Tim 4:1 it says: Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons."

One web site listed Contemplative spirituality as this: A belief system that uses ancient mystical practices to induce altered states of consciousness (the silence) and is rooted in mysticism and the occult but often wrapped in Christian terminology. The premise of contemplative spirituality is pantheistic (God is all) and panentheistic (God is in all).

Did you catch that? It is wrapped in Christian terminology. This is known as a disguise, a cover up. When something is hidden, God will reveal the truth by His word. This belief system is very dangerous! Let me be very clear, it will open you up to the demonic realm (mysticism). The bible says 2 Cor 6:17 "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

My heart breaks as I write this article. I have been crying out for years to God in prayer to show me what is stopping God's plan (the gospel) from going forth. I believe that this is Satan's counterfiet to hinder the gospel from going forward. As the saying goes the "Ishmael" will always come before the Isaac.

God's people are being deceived and lead astray like sheep to the slaughter. I wonder how many people have been deceived and perhaps didn't even realize it. Why is it that we accept everything that comes under the Christian label? Was it so subtle that nobody even noticed? Has it hidden its identity and wrapped itself in Christian terminology that it's invisible to the human eye? Perhaps because of the way it's being promoted and packaged and sold, we never questioned It.? Did you drink the kool-aid and are now suffering with the side effects? How curious is the Body of Christ, that they are being seduced and lead away to commit "spiritual Suicide? How many are jumping off of this cliff of (Contemplative) New Age spirituality"?

If the elect can be deceived, then so can the sheep. (Matt 24:24) Have we had our attention focused on something else, while Satan has been planting the tares among the wheat? It's time that the Body of Christ realizes what is going on! The bible says in Hosea 4:6 - my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Jesus was clear in his word that - He said "I will send you out as sheep among the wolves therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. " How has deception come into the church? What is our measuring stick? We are to base all things on the word of God. We need to study to show ourselves approved. Test every spirit and see if it's of God. If we question something, we should test it according to God's word. So what can we do to protect ourselves and recognize and identify it?

The answer is found in Matt 7:20 -Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

As you study the word of God you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. When the word of God is in your heart you will be able to know when deception is present and operating. We have a choice to accept or deny the word of God. If we choose to accept the word of God, we can't just remove or replace something that we don't like or agree with. When we mix what is holy with what God calls evil we will end up with an unclean thing. God warns us repeatedly in his word about worshipping other gods. He forbids it. When we accept and practice what God says is evil we have now allowed Satan entrance into our lives.

If we cry out to God in repentance then he will come and forgive us. 2 Chron 7:14 says if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

The Body of Christ needs to say "NO" to these evil ways and get back on track with God's agenda. We are called to take the gospel and preach it. We are not to be ashamed of it, because many are waiting to hear. Let's say no to any practices, teachings, prayer or worship that is not rooted in the word of God. Perhaps we just need to go back to what God said to do in the first place; humble ourselves, pray, seek his face and repent (turn from our wicked ways). Take the gospel into all the world.

God presence will manifest when the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached. We are called to bring it outside of the four walls; there are many that are waiting to hear. Do you blame them, after what I just told you, that they won't come in some of our churches? The word says that we are to go to them, not the other way around.

This is it folks, we are it, God has called us to be his end time army! The world is slowly slipping away into deception and they are seeking truth. We are to go marching through the land preaching salvation, healing and deliverance. God's word is so simple, so why should we complicate it? He has armed us with his word and has given us his authority. We must rise up and over take the kingdom of darkness. If one will put a thousand to flight and two will put ten thousand to flight, then what will an entire army do? Time is running out...let's not let the kingdom of darkness over take the kingdom of God. It's time to kick the devils butt (once and for all) and take names for Jesus!!!! Will you answer the call? Jesus is counting on EVERY ONE of us to be his voice of truth to a lost and dying world.
