Is Burger King a Healthy Place to Eat?

Anas
Customers have been having it their way at Burger King since 1954. According to the company's Website, there are 1,537 different ways to order a Whopper. Care to guess how many ways are low in fat?

If taste is no object

Like McDonald's, Burger King's salads are safe to eat if you opt for low-cal dressing. But unlike McDonald's, Burger King still thinks it can inoculate itself against hamburger bashers with a vegetable burger. BK's Veggie Burger scores predictably low in fat and cholesterol yet still has enough calories (330) to fill you up-that is, if you can get one of these things down.

Better than you thought

The broiled Chicken Whopper Jr. packs in a satisfying 350 calories, offset by only 14 grams of fat. Hold the mayo and you'll shave off 80 calories and over half the fat.

You knew it was bad for you

The eggy, gooey Croissan'wich with Sausage, Egg, & Cheese sounds as gross as it is: 520 calories, 39 grams of fat (14 saturated), 210 milligrams of cholesterol and 1,090 milligrams of sodium. Ask for a side order of arterial stents.

But not this bad

When you say "Double Whopper with cheese" you've said a mouthful. This sandwich has more fat (76 grams) than two orders of King-size fries, more saturated fat (30 grams) than four Egg'wiches with Egg & Cheese, and the same amount of calories (1,150) as two Bacon Double Cheeseburgers. (Burp!)
