Is Cancer a Fungus? Part II

According to the American Cancer Society, there will be an estimated 584,650 deaths due to cancer in the US this year (2008). Although hundreds of thousands of dollars will be spent on treatments for many of these patients, the most conventional medicine can hope for is adding a few more months to their lives. Meanwhile more and more patients are refusing conventional treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy and discovering other ways to cure their disease.

Many doctors, biochemists and scientists have been making discoveries about cancer and curing patients, only to be punished, struck off, and sometimes imprisoned for curing patients by unconventional methods as opposed to chemotherapy and radiation. In this article, I refer to some of those who support the theory that cancer is a fungus.

Know The Cause

The Acid Body Theory

Robert O. Young, Ph.D., D.Sc. has spent years researching the relationship between fungi and human disease. Dr. Young has degrees in nutrition, chemistry, and microbiology and has written many articles on how a proliferation of fungi can cause an over-acidity of the human body, resulting in fungal and yeast infections, cancer and many other diseases.

According to Dr.Young, a diet high in sugar and animal protein, causes fungi and yeasts to grow out of control and inhibit the immune system. The symptoms associated with this phenomenon are chronic fatigue, obesity, kidney stones, osteoporosis, cancer and many other diseases. According to Dr. Young, these diseases can be reversed with dietary changes and supplementation to return the body to an ideal pH balance.

Dr. Young theorizes that osteoporosis is often not caused by a lack of calcium, but by the conditions of an over-acidic body, where calcium is taken from the bones to neutralize the pH level in the blood and tissues. He also theorizes that obesity is the result the body protecting its vital organs from excess acids, by encasing or neutralizing the acids in fat cells.

An Ancient Life Form

Fungus in one of the oldest forms of life on Earth and probably evolved before there was sufficient oxygen to support other life forms. Fungi can grow in almost any environment and are known to be part of the population of billions of micro-organisms (fungi, bacteria and viruses) that live in the human body. Certain types of bacteria are essential to our health, aiding digestion and the synthesis of vitamins, other types of bacteria are harmless and help keep fungi under control. However, the over-use of antibiotics kills these helpful bacteria and encourages an overgrowth of fungi and yeasts.

In fact, we have become obsessive about the dangers of bacteria, while the biggest threat is fungi, yeasts and molds. Fungi are naturally antibiotic and their spores can also destroy other competing fungi to ensure survival. Will There Ever Be Freedom of Choice Where Healthcare Is Concerned?

Many herbalists, naturopathic doctors and enlightened oncologists are healing cancer patients by using safe, non-toxic, and natural methods. They have helped patients to turn their lives around by addressing stress, exercise, dietary changes, and supplementation. Cancer cells are different to healthy cells in so many ways that treatment can be target to selectively destroy them using all kinds of protocols. Examples are: anti-cancer diets (Rudolph Breuss, Johanna Budwig, Gerson Therapy), immune stimulants, enzymatic therapy, heat or cold (thermal ablation), medicinal mushrooms, antioxidants, alkalization, hydrogen peroxide, visualization, and numerous herbs and supplements.
