Is the Catholic Church Evil and Diabolical?

What Do You Know?

Yes, she has been shrouded in mystery, for over 20 centuries, and has seen her fair share of human errors, misadventures and trails, but she has survived and bounced back as one united, holy catholic and apostolic Church unam sanctam.

The church has had more than 254 popes in continuous succession, making the papacy the oldest office in all history, civilization and known records.

Why ?

When Jesus chose his twelve disciples, one was devil, why?

To show us that in any organization gathered for the work of God, there is always an agent of Lucifer, unrepentant, and seeking personal gain, like Judas who stole money designated for the poor.

The 2000 yr Catholic Church has seen its share of Iscariot, from the crusades, to the papal bulls, inquisitions and wars, but what we fail to notice are the good things from the church.

When I do good no one ever remembers; does this apply in your life?

According to business week, "The Roman Catholic Church, with some 64 million members ...is the largest and most influential non government organization in the U.S.

Largest operator of private schools in the U.S., with over 2.6 million students enrolled in its 6,900 elementary schools and some 1,200 high schools

The nonprofit health-care system includes 637 hospitals, accounting for 17% of all U.S. hospital admissions." Business week

This is just a tip of the ice berg.

My own fuzzy math ...

If Jesus had one devil amongst twelve disciples, how many can we find after 250 plus popes and millions of clergy, since they hold apostolic succession. One for every 12, do the math.So the majority are good.

So do not judge the Catholic Church by a few bad men, there are over a billion Catholics worldwide.
