Is Charlie Sheen Mean, or Just a Hysterical Drama Queen?

Mean Sheen or a Bad Drama Queen Scene?

Will Stape
We've all been over loaded by him, he of the never ending motor mouth of interviews, and even he'd admit he's overexposed, yet the Charlie Sheen drama scene is far from over. CBS terminated the star from his hit sitcom "Two And A Half Men", and Mr. Sheen is now suing the network and Chuck Lorre, his producer and the creator of the popular show. Although it's clear Charlie Sheen dabbles in a fair amount of powerful narcotics, people are truly starting to wonder: Is Charlie Sheen simply being mean, or is he just a big, ole drama queen?

There's a major humanitarian crisis in Japan, and we've now mobilized a coalition of military forces against Libya's leader Muammar Gaddafi, but yet the world still seems overly fascinated by that wacky, winning Warlock. Sheen's randy tiger blood seethes, his Adonis DNA ripples and twists, and it's all caught on tape, or through his own amateur web cast online - Sheen's Korner.

Is he wild, and winning, or daffy and sinning? A Warlock or a Warload? No matter how much you love or hate him - or just love to hate him - Charlie Sheen's little dog and pony show continues to prance around, attracting more media attention than for many a celebrity in many a well documented moon.

Yet, a nagging question people keep asking: Has Charlie Sheen played us for fools? Is his weird act, just that - an act?

Actors by their very nature are dramatic. You can argue good actors, like Charlie Sheen, are basically born drama queens. If not, all the acting classes in the world won't turn a drama dud into a dazzling drama queen. It was said another famous drama queen, Joan Crawford, could not only cry on cue, but often asked which of her eyes should tear up first.

Charlie Sheen starred in a hit TV sitcom for nearly a decade. In that time, he's absorbed line after line of comedy fodder, and that great writing surely rubbed off on him. Are Sheen's antics a grisly extension of a sitcom? Is he merely channeling the writers he's been exposed to for so long? For though it may be hard to remember now, amidst all the bizarre behavior, Charlie Sheen's a gifted actor. He comes from a respected Hollywood family, and so that 'royal acting' blood makes him a genuine drama queen. Question now is: When does the drama queen stop playing his scene?

I believe that Charlie Sheen is bipolar. I feel for him and hope he gets the help he needs for the sake of himself and the children he fathered-- who need their father back in good sound mind.

So with that, I will add to the stage surname rhyming-- I hope Charlie Sheen gets serene.

Perhaps it will give him the benefit of the doubt by suggesting that he is, perhaps, unwell.
